The Laudato Si Movement - Minnesota Chapter is offering an online 7-week series on Catholic Social Teaching starting the first week in January. This series is a pilot program of JustFaith Ministries. We are fortunate to offer this course at St. Dominic, Thursday evenings at 6:30pm from January 8 – February 18 in our new Youth Room in the lower level of the church.
In a time of deep division and social inequity, the lens of Catholic Social Teaching is an opportunity to return to the foundational principles of our Catholic faith as we discern how we are called to love one another, including and especially our neighbors experiencing poverty. This small group series traces the development, significance, and impact of Catholic Social Teaching (CST) over the last 135 years to systems that have caused poverty, disenfranchisement, environmental degradation, and exclusion.

Registration is limited.
These facilitated sessions feature prayer and meditation, song, respectful dialogue, and thoughtful reflections around the seven themes of CST. In an atmosphere of trust and openness, participants experience the strength of authentic shared community, heightened awareness, and renewed inspiration from a Catholic tradition of which they may have been largely unaware. LSM Minnesota is sponsoring this course to ground our advocacy work and to learn more about living our faith.
